Clinical Research Fellowships
The Centre for Genome Stability offers a small number of Clinical Research Fellowships for clinicians to undertake a 3-year translational PhD covering topics relating to genome stability in cancer with our leading experts in the ICR and The Royal Marsden. Trainees will receive world-class training in joint clinical and fundamental science laboratories to tackle important research challenges in genome stability.
Fellowships are typically three years in duration and will provide:

Appropriate salary in line with the candidate's current salary (clinical training grades only)

PhD registration fees at the UK rate; and

Research running costs
To be eligible for consideration, candidates must have:

Obtained the MBBS degrees of the University of London or some other registrable primary qualification in Medicine,

Hold full registration with the General Medical Council with a licence to practice;

Clinical experience relevant to the project.
Applicants are expected to currently be in a clinical training position.
Please note that these fellowships are full-time research positions with limited participation in clinical activities.
